CALENDRIER 2.5.2 Fat Binary
You have, not too far away from you, "Calendrier" in its most advanced version.
It allows you to play with the Calendar.
What day of the week were you born on ?
Will the third milenaire begin with a monday ?
Was Easter Monday 1945 a tuesday ?
The answer to all these questions, and to many others, are in Calendrier.
For all users living in France, or whose Control Panel "Date and Time" is set to
"France", Calendrier will help you chose your vacation days in order to optimize
long week-ends, as it can tell you which days are holidays.
For the other countries, I unfortunately couldn't put my hands on an exhaustive
list of official holidays. The only ones signaled are December 25th and
January 1st (e.g. certain countries don't celebrate Easter Day)
However, if you join such a list for your country when registering, I'll be happy
to complete Calendrier.
The topping on the cake is that Calendrier adapts itself to the country in
which it's running : to test this feature, just open the "Date and Time" Control
Panel, click on 'Date Format' and choose another country than yours in the menu.
Click on OK and launch Calendrier II again. Automagically the names of the months
and days change to those used in the selected country.
Here are now the usual thanks.
Thanks to all the kind beta testers:
Nathalie Lejeune for her kindness,
Franck Horlaville for his 12:45 a.m. bug reports on the phone,
Romain Lacroix because he deserves it,
Serge Rossi for his desperating bug reports,
Stephane Corbin for his Mac+,
Gilles and William Walschaerts because they're friends
and last Maxime "Seen on TV" Larribe who's also a friend.
Please understand that Calendrier is a ShareWare, and that if you use it you have
the moral obligation to pay the author. The advantages are that you can test
BEFORE paying and that the price isn't very high. For Calendrier, it will cost
you only US $5 or 25 FF.
